"Barry, I can't stay here. I have to get to the 21st century. I have to find Mia and The Team. " Bart said anxiously.
"Calm down, Bart. Look, your story doesn't make a lot of sense. So you chased Thawne through the Speed-Force and couldn't catch him and there was this crackling sound and an explosion of light and then you were in the 31st century and somehow, despite your powers crapping out, you wound up here?" Barry asked.
"When you say it out loud, it sounds like a bad fanfic." Bart said.
"Okay. I think I know what happened. A time boom. Ripples of distortion that changed time. That's why Mia doesn't exist." Barry said.
"Great. But I still have to get back to the 21st century and try to set things on the right path." Bart said.
"I think I have the solution. I know a man who can help. He's kind of an acquired taste. Captain Rip Hunter. He's in Midway City and most likely at the nearest bar. Just call him Michael and he'll know I sent you." Barry said.
"Got it." Bart said as he raced off.
The city lights started streaming as Bart raced to Midway City. Suddenly, something slammed into him HARD.
"Predictable. Stupid and predictable." Thawne said.
Bart charged him but got smacked down.
"I'm not gonna kill you, Bart. I don't want to hurt a blood relative. I want you to go to the past. Try to set things right. When you fail, I'll enjoy watching you squirm." Eobard sneered.
As Eobard raced off, Bart kept going to Midway City. He was gonna stop Thawne and fix things, no matter what.
He HAD to. Mia, The Team, EVERYTHING depended on him.
